COLUMBIA — Missouri and Purdue University football teams will meet in 2017 at Missouri and 2018 at Purdue.

Purdue's trip to Columbia on Sept. 16, 2017, will be the first since 1956, when Purdue won 16-7 in what would be coach Don Faurot's last season on the sideline for the Tigers. When Missouri visits Purdue on Sept. 15, 2018, it will be the Tigers first trip to West Lafayette since 1954.

The last time the two schools have played was in 1980, when Purdue won 28-25 in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn.
