Missouri's Gadbois wins 'Golden Shoe' award

COLUMBIA — Missouri softball's redshirt sophomore Taylor Gadbois was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Golden Shoe winner. The award is presented to the student-athlete determined to be the most outstanding base stealer.

Gadbois was one of 10 student athletes chosen. They represented athletic divisions from high school through Division I.

Last season Gadbois stoles 46 bases in 51 attempts. She stole multiple bases in 12 games.
