Garth Avenue to close overnight Monday and Wednesday for sewer maintenance

COLUMBIA — Garth Avenue will be closed between West Worley Street and West Sexton Road for sewer maintenance beginning Monday night.

The street will close from 7 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday, and then 7 p.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday, according to a Columbia Public Works news release.

The construction is scheduled to be completed by Thursday morning. Drivers should try to take alternate routes whenever possible, though all homes in the area will remain accessible during the construction.
