COLUMBIA — Missouri diver Clark Thomas' win in last weekend's 3-meter competition at the USA Diving Zone C National Preliminaries in Dallas earned him a spot in this year's National Championships.

Thomas is the second Missouri diver to qualify for nationals, after Lauren Reedy.

Thomas scored 404.75 points in finals to secure the win. He was in sixth with one dive remaining but scored a 73.10 on his last dive to win, according to a news release.

Thomas has now qualified to compete in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform diving competitions at nationals in August.

Reedy also won the women's 3-meter (individual) and 3-meter synchronized competitions in last weekend's meet.
