OSAGE BEACH — The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a collision on a bridge near the Lake of the Ozarks killed three family members from Illinois and a Missouri man.

The accident happened Wednesday on Missouri 5 on the Niangua River Bridge north of Camdenton.

The patrol says 56-year-old Randal Estes of Warsaw, Mo., lost control of his dump truck when it had a flat tire. The truck crossed into the southbound lane and hit a truck that was towing a boat.

Estes and three people inside the truck were killed. The victims in the truck were 50-year-old Terry Schroeder; 46-year-old Cindy Schroeder; and 14-year-old Dylan Schroeder, all of Benson, Ill. The all died at the scene.

Fourteen-year-old Donnie Schroeder was flown to the University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
