COLUMBIA – This week Missourian photographers captured images of haircuts, furry cows, a dancing duo and Missouri football.
In this image by Kylee Gregg, handmade lanterns float on Stephens Lake on Saturday to commemorate the Hiroshima-Nagasaki bombings. Many lanterns were adorned with images and messages of peace.
A few of Jeff Gibson's Highland cows stand in a pasture after Gibson called them there July 30 in this photo by Lauren Kastner. Gibson prefers Highland cattle because of their look and the quality of beef they produce. Jeff's mother, Judy Gibson, was gored by their bull Slick in July.
