Missouri football parking passes sold out

Monday, August 11, 2014 | 8:23 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — All Missouri football parking passes have been sold for 2014, according to the Missouri Athletics Department.

The Tiger Scholarship Fund received a record number of parking requests for the upcoming season, and donations to the fund have reached an all-time high.

Even though the Tiger Scholarship Fund added three previously unused lots to its parking allocations, not all requests will be able to be filled, according to a Missouri Athletics news release.

Associate Athletic Director for Advancement Tim Stedman estimates that about 450 donors who had requested parking will not get a pass this season, and many others will not get the parking lot they had requested.

The lot south of Truman's Landing remains available for general public parking for $25 per game.

There are also seven on-campus garages available for game day parking. Most of these garages are free, with the exception of the Tiger Avenue Parking Structure located at the corner of Tiger Avenue and Hospital Drive, and Parking Structure No. 7, located at the corner of Monk Drive and Virginia Avenue. The fee for these two garages is also $25 per game. Fans are encouraged to go to MizzouGameDay.com for more details.

"As the demand for parking continues to accelerate we are committed to looking at options to enhance the benefit to our donors moving forward," Stedman said.

"We are extremely grateful to our loyal and generous donors for their investment in the well-being of our 520 deserving student-athletes and we look forward to what promises to be another exciting season for Mizzou Football."
