Missouri divers fail to qualify for finals at National Diving Championships

Missouri swimmers junior Lauren Reedy and incoming freshman Alexa Beckwith, failed to qualify Tuesday for the finals of the synchronized 3-meter springboard event at this year's USA Diving ATT Senior National Diving Championships.

Beckwith and her partner, Katie Russ, placed seventh with a score of 245.37. Only the top six advance to the finals on Saturday.

Reedy and her partner, Megan Houston, placed twelfth with a score of 225.90. Reedy will also compete in the 1- and 3-meter competitions later this week.

Junior Clark Thomas will compete in the 1-meter and 3-meter platform events starting Wednesday.
