June Kingery loved her animals and taking trips to the mountains

COLUMBIA — June Wahllel Kingery, of Columbia, died Friday at Boone Hospital Center. She was 82.

She was born July 9, 1932, in Columbia to Roy H. and Maurine A. Whitesides Fenton. She married Eugene Kingery on Oct. 19, 1963.

Mrs. Kingery never met a stranger, loved her dogs and horses, and loved to go to the mountains. She was a graduate of Hickman High School and lived most of her life in Boone County.

Mrs. Kingery is survived by her husband, Eugene Kingery; three sisters-in-law, Darlene Flood of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Sue Fenton of Columbia and Lois Jean Fenton of Mountain Grove; and two cousins, Joyce Murray and Mary Ann Tekotte, both of Columbia.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Funeral Service, 22 N. Tenth St. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Cemetery near Harrisburg.
