No. 10 West Virginia storms back, beats Missouri soccer

COLUMBIA — Missouri gave up three goals after a 2-0 lead in the second half and lost to No. 10 West Virginia 3-2 Sunday in University Park, Pa.

The Tigers (0-1-1) got two goals from senior Taylor Grant, who put the ball in the back of the net in the seventh minute and the 47th. But the Mountaineers (1-1-0) made a furious comeback in the final 37 minutes and got the go-ahead goal from Kate Schwindel with 1:38 left in the match.

Schwindel had two goals for West Virginia in the win. The Tigers play TCU on Friday and SMU on Sunday.
