Esther 'Ann' Annalee Ayers, Nov. 25, 1920 - Aug. 18, 2014, of Williams, Ariz.

Esther "Ann" Annalee Ayers, 93, of Williams, AZ, formerly of Columbia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00–7:30 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel.

Ann was born November 25, 1920 to Edmund Milo and Elva May Stuckey Augspurger in Normal, Illinois. On February 28, 1943, she married Joseph B. Ayers in Bloomington, Illinois. He preceded her in death in February 2007.

Ann graduated from the Mennonite School of Nursing in Bloomington, Illinois and worked at the Mennonite Hospital there as well as the University of Missouri Medical Center, Christian College and Ellis Fischel Cancer Hospital. She was a member of Northwood Baptist Church of Columbia.

Ann loved life and her home was always open to family, friends, visiting ministers, missionaries and college students for whom she loved to cook.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney Ayers of La Palma, CA, and Steve Ayers of St. Joseph, MO, daughter, Barbara Bach of Williams, AZ; five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Shamer of Moorestown, NJ, and one brother, Don Augspurger, of Normal, IL;

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Ruth Connor, brother: Dean Augspurger and granddaughter: Tanya Ayers.
