COLUMBIA — Former Missouri basketball player Zach Price transferred to Winthrop on Tuesday, according to a statement from Winthrop.

The senior forward's eligibility for the 2014-15 season is pending an NCAA waiver, the statement said.

Price, 21, was dismissed from the Missouri basketball team April 10 following two arrests within 13 hours on April 3.

The 6-foot-10, 250-pound big man sat out his first and only season for the Tigers following a transfer from Louisville.
