COLUMBIA — The Missouri athletics department and the MU Police Department will use a taxi stand on football game days this season, according to a news release.

The stand will be located south of Memorial Stadium on the north side of Champions Drive near the entrance of Lot G. The stand will be enforced from 8 a.m. until one hour after games.

According to the news release, the stand will be in place to alleviate traffic congestion and help taxi patrons stay safe around the stadium.

The stand will debut Saturday, when the Tigers open the season against South Dakota State. The game begins at 2:30 p.m.
