ST. LOUIS — The Missouri football team won't be playing an "away" game in St. Louis in 2015 after all.
The St. Louis Sports Commission had asked Arkansas State to move its home game in the second week of September 2015 to the city's Busch Stadium, but the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the game will remain in Jonesboro, Ark., at 30,708-seat Centennial Bank Stadium.
The northeast Arkansas university on Tuesday announced a $5 million athletics donation from booster Johnny Allison.
Missouri last played in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome in 2010, the final year of a four-year neutral site deal with rival Illinois. The Tigers defeated Arkansas State 41-19 in 2013 as part of a home-and-home deal between the two universities.
