Mr. William “Bill” Joseph Carter, age 56, of Marceline, Mo., died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Macon, Mo.
Bill Carter was born in Kirksville Mo., on December 11, 1957, to George and Cecelia (Mitch) Carter. He married Patricia Anne Stanley on May 20, 1988. Bill Carterwas the Computer-MIS Director at Moore Fans in Marceline, a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline and an area resident all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Carter of Marceline; sons Tim Burch and Tera Werths, Warrensburg, Mo.; Josh and Megan Burch, Holt Summit, Mo.; John and Missy Burch, Jefferson City, Mo.; and Joe and Raluca Burch, Amesbury, Mass.; daughters, Amy and Michael Powell, Kearney, Mo.; Heather and Trent Seal, Norman, Okla.; Amy and Josh Dinwiddie, Olathe, Kan.; and Jenny and Brad Gilbertson, Macon; two brothers, Rob and Mike Carter, New Cambria,, Mo.; three sisters, Jean and Roy Schimming, Pickering, Mo.; Carol and Greg Burstert, New Cambria; and Patrice and Steve Cook, Blackwater Mo.; and sixteen grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Emma, Mason, Delaney, Kadee, Zoey, Piffy, Foster, Aylia, Rogun, Isaac, Ian, Ray, Austin, and Lexie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery of New Cambria. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline.
