to show their school spirit for homecoming week.

Theme: Super Bruin

Dress days

Monday: Pajama day

Tuesday: Crazy hair day

Wednesday: Dress like the opposite sex

Thursday: Super Hero day

Decorative spirit: Super Bruin Hall decorations designed and built by classes

Queen: Winner to be announced at halftime of football game. The nominees: Mackenzie Asel, Lisa Hofsess, Ashley Guy, Andrea Hofsess, Marjorie McDonald, Michaela Moore, Sarah Phillips

Queen responsibilities: Entertain classmates with games and contests

Parade: Downtown, 3 p.m. Friday

Football game: 7 p.m., Friday,against Hannibal

Dance: Rock Bridge commons, 9 to 11:30 p.m., Friday.

Unique developments: Rock Bridge opened their Alumni Hall of Fame at the homecoming assembly on Thursday. A nine-member selection committee made up of the first two principals of Rock Bridge, former teachers and alumni considered potential candidates throughout the last year and selected the following candidates to enter the Hall first: Jeffrey Anglen, Sean Clark, Lucinda Sword Woolery, Deke Dickerson and Lt. Col. Stephen B. Edwards. Rock Bridge plans to add five new members to the Hall of Fame each year.

Queen: Winner to be announced at halftime of football game. The nominees: Allison Cooper, Andrea Wolf, Sara Harper, Sarah Luetjen, Naomi Tesfamikael, Paige Ely, Lauren Harris, Lauren Brucks, Yasmine Childs, Ashley McGee

Queen responsibilities: Put in minimum of 20 service hours or raise funds for a designated charity

Parade: Downtown, 3:15 p.m. Friday

Football game: 7 p.m., Friday, against Parkway South

Dance: Hickman commons,10 p.m. to midnight.

Unique developments: Hickman senior class president Mike Moesel suggested his classmates forgo float building this year to raise money to honor their late friend Adam Popejoy. The seniors raised funds before and after school and will continue raising money at football and soccer games throughout the season for the Adam Popejoy Scholarship Fund at the MU College of Arts and Sciences. Adam’s parents, Lori and Sidney Popejoy, established the fund to honor Adam’s memory and aid future art students.
