Sampson praises Tigers

Two days after his team’s loss to Missouri, Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson had a warning for the rest of the conference.

“Missouri is a team that you better not overlook,” Sampson said. “You better not look at their struggles; you better look at what they’re capable of doing.”

Despite Missouri’s 7-6 start, Sampson said the Tigers’ opponents must take their talent into consideration.

“Sometimes you focus on what a team doesn’t do and you forget what they do have,” he said. “They’re capable of winning every game they play.”
