The Rascals’ Mike Madrid scored on a James Moreno single in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at 7.

Chad Sterbens’ RBI single gave the Mavericks (4-25) a 3-2 lead in the second, and Brett Metheny made it 4-2 with a solo home run in the fourth.

The Rascals (14-13) moved ahead 6-5 in the sixth, but Mid-Missouri came back with RBIs from Metheny and Tom Cashman. The loss ended the Rascals’ four-game winning streak.
