Tigers naming new assistant

Monday, June 21, 2004 | 12:00 a.m. CDT; updated 7:22 a.m. CDT, Saturday, July 19, 2008

Quin Snyder, the Missouri men’s basketball coach, will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. today to announce an addition to his coaching staff.

The press conference, which comes three days after assistant coach Tony Harvey resigned, will be held at Hearnes Center.

The coaching changes come fewer than two weeks before the Missouri basketball program will respond to a NCAA letter of allegations.

Assistant coach Lane Odom resigned May 11, and Marcus Perez is the only assistant left on Snyder’s coaching staff.
