The University of Missouri issued a public letter of reprimand to men’s basketball coach Quin Snyder, addressed July 28.

The letter was one of the self-imposed penalties that came as a result of MU’s July 1 response to the NCAA’s Notice of Allegations.

Athletic director Mike Alden issued the letter.

In the letter, which goes on Snyder’s permanent personnel file, Alden said Snyder and his staff “exhibited adherence to rules compliance the majority of the time, but in the instances where failures occurred, it will be important to engage in specific attention to detail.”

Snyder, in a statement in response to the letter, apologized for the mistakes he made and noted that steps had been taken to reform the basketball program.
