Former Missouri quarterback Darrell Jackson was charged Monday with five counts of statutory rape according to a report.

He is accused of molesting an elementary school girl while he was a student at Webster Groves High School, the report on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Web site said.

He was being held on $50,000 bond.

Jackson left the university in August after the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office petitioned to certify him as an adult, which happened during a hearing on Sept. 16.

Crystol Mitchell, the wife of senior cornerback Shirdonya Mitchell, gave birth to their first child Sunday morning. Shiriah Chali Mitchell weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and is doing well.

The Big 12 announced Monday morning the Tigers’ home game against Kansas State will be at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 6. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Net.

This marks the sixth straight game the Tigers will be on television. The Tigers play Nebraska at 11 a.m. this Saturday on Fox Sports Net.
