Reading to feature professor’s work

MU Greek History professor to present his work

Ian Worthington, an MU Greek history professor and author of “Alexander the Great: Man and God,” will present a short reading at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at Barnes & Noble, 2208 Bernadette Drive. A news release said The Missouri Review’s book club will host a reception before the reading.

Worthington has written and edited several books and articles on Greek history. He has been a consultant for a National Geographic documentary on Alexander the Great and for an Archaeology Magazine article on Alexander in Asia.

The reading is free and open to the public.
