The Missouri volleyball team won against Iowa State for the 16th straight time Wednesday night in Ames, Iowa.
Coming back from a five-point deficit in the third game to win 30-22, the Tigers (16-6, 11-4 Big 12) swept the Cyclones for the 13th time in the past 16 meetings.
It also marked the eighth sweep of the season for the Tigers.
MU dominated Iowa State (8-17, 1-15) in the first two games 30-18.
Overall, the Tigers hitting percentage was .312 compared to the Cyclones’ .043.
Lisa Boyd led the Tigers with 14 kills for the match, while Nicole Wilson added 11 kills. Tatum Ailes recorded a team-high 20 digs for the second straight match.
The Tigers’ next match will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hearnes Center when they play host to Texas.
