Rain delays Tigers in Phoenix

The Missouri baseball team might have traveled west to elude the ice and snow of the Show-Me-State, but it could not escape the rain.

Friday's game against the Oregon State Beavers was cancelled because of rain in Phoenix. The Tigers are scheduled to face Northwestern Saturday morning at 11 a.m. (10 a.m. MST) as they continue play in the Oakland A's Spring Training Tournament.

The Tigers will take a 1-0 record into the game against the Wildcats. Missouri defeated Portland 8-3 on Thursday afternoon to open up its season.
