A Rock Bridge High School senior has been charged with vandalism in connection with damage done to the Hickman High School athletic field in early January.

Aaron Nichols, 17, was charged with second-degree property damage on Feb. 1.

The damage to the field, caused by sharp turns done with a sport utility vehicle, was estimated at $900 to $1,500.

Police did not pursue warrants for two passengers in the vehicle.

Rusty Antel, who will be representing Nichols, said his client had entered a plea of not guilty.

A trial date had not been set.
