The Columbia College women's basketball team lost to Point Loma Nazarene University 88-77 Friday in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament.

The Lady Cougars end their season at 31-6.

Lisa Kowalewski led the team with 29 points while shooting 6-8 from 3-point range. Charliss Ridley was next with 15 points.

Columbia College led the Sea Lions 38-37 at the half and looked to be in control of the game. It led by 10 at one point. But the Lady Cougars turned the ball over on three straight possessions midway through the half. Point Loma (San Diego, Calif.) capitalized each time.
