A two-car collision near Stadium Boulevard and Ash Street on Saturday left one person in serious condition at University Hospital.

Uintah J. Geiger, 22, was listed in serious condition at University Hospital Saturday night after police said the driver’s side of her car was hit by another car.

Columbia police Sgt. Brian Richenberger said a car driven by Francis I. Rimmer, 85, was traveling southbound on Stadium Boulevard when it collided with the driver’s side of Geiger’s car at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Michael Schafermeyer, 26, of St. Louis, a passenger in Geiger’s car, was listed in good condition at University Hospital on Saturday.

Rimmer was treated and released, family members said.
