The condition of a 2-month-old baby girl who was brought to University Hospital on Saturday with a broken skull, arms and ribs was upgraded to fair, a University Hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.

The spokeswoman, Bridgett Robbins, would not say if the infant, Denim Allen, had been moved out of the intensive care unit.

The infant’s father, Shaetwyn Allen, 24, was charged with felony child abuse Monday and as of Wednesday afternoon was being held in Boone County Jail on $50,000 bond.
