Harry and Ann Cornell, whose donations and fundraising efforts helped pay for construction of Cornell Hall in the MU College of Business, have pledged an additional $4 million to the college.

Part of the money, $1.4 million, will be used to create a new leadership program for undergraduate students. The program is expected to feature honors-like courses and activities designed to build leadership abilities, according to a university news release.

The remaining $2.6 million will be used to pay for further construction and to help furnish Cornell Hall.

The Cornells have previously donated more than $3 million to the College of Business.
