What’s on the ballot?

A smattering of municipal elections including seats on the Columbia City Council in the Second and Sixth wards and two seats on the Columbia School Board.

Those living in the Boone County Fire Protection District will also choose a new board member and decide whether to increase the board from three to five members.

Boone County voters will also decide on a ballot measure to increase sales tax by one-fifth-cent to renovate county-owned buildings in Columbia.

When to vote

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Where to vote

You can find your polling place online by visiting the Boone County Clerk’s Web site at /CLERK. You will need to bring a form of identification to your polling place.
