Nebraska swept the Missouri softball team at Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln. Sunday’s 5-3 loss gave the Tiger’s (23-25, 7-11 Big 12) the seventh seed in the Big 12 Conference Championships.

The Missouri loss allowed Nebraska (40-8, 12-5) to tie a school record for 20 wins at home.

Jen Bruck gave the Tigers a three-run lead in the first inning with a three-run home run, but Missouri was unable to produce any more runs. The blast was Bruck’s ninth this season.

The Tigers play next in Oklahoma City on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. against No. 10 seed Texas Tech. If Missouri wins, the team will rematch against Nebraska later that day at 7:30 p.m.
