11:59 a.m.: Pop superstar Rihanna just sang the National Anthem, much to the delight of the men in section 19. Chris Braddock from Jefferson City, who drove 18 hours to the game, has a two-sided sign that says “Hey, Mitch is your Mom letting you watch this?” and “Hey kU how’s the t.v. reception?”

Minutes later, Army parachute jumpers landed at the 50-yard line. One of the last jumpers was announced as representing Missouri. When the parachute jumper announced as representing Oregon State, the Missouri fans booed.
