3:10 p.m.: Oregon State kicker Alexis Serna kicked a 29-yard field goal to cut the Tigers lead to 31-24. The official attendance was announced as 48,732.

One of the underlying stories from this week was the matchup of the two team's kickers. Serna won the Lou Groza Award which is presented to the best kicker and Jeff Wolfert was a semi-finalist for the award this season after walking-on to the team and winning the job in the late stages of two-a-days. With the game as close as it is, it could come down to either one of these heralded kickers.
