Michael Acuff and his future son-in-law, Tim Leibovich, spent their Monday afternoon fishing at Cosmo-Bethel Lake Park. The two were waiting for Acuff’s children, 12-year-old Silas and 10-year-old Susan, to get out of school. Their mother, Milly, picked them up and brought them to the lake. Leibovich was having a hard time casting, and Acuff was getting a kick out of it. They kept a few poles in the water at a time. By the day’s end, they caught several rainbow trout.
