MU junior aims to bring smiles, relieve tension of coming final exams with free hugs on campus

Jeff Quillen, a junior at MU, offered free hugs at Brady Fountain on Monday afternoon. He says there are several psychological benefits to hugs. “Think about it: You never leave a hug without a smile on your face,” Quillen said. He plans to give free hugs during finals week, which runs May 7 through May 11.
