About 200 people showed up at the Courthouse Square in Columbia to participate in the 56th Annual National Day of Prayer. Most participants had pamphlets that contained the programs and lyrics for the worship songs. The few rain showers were not enough to stop people from singing along with the band on stage. The ceremony ended with a prayer for Columbia, led by the Rev. Tom Leuther.
