A Blue Springs man remained in good condition Monday after an all-terrain vehicle overturned on him at Finger Lakes State Park on Sunday morning.

Jack C. Meinhold, 56, was taken by ambulance to University Hospital after his ATV flipped while he was driving up an embankment at a park campground, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Boone County Fire Protection District Division Chief Gale Blomenkamp.

Division Chief Gale Blomenkamp of the Boone County Fire

Protection District said that Meinhold suffered moderate

injuries. Two units from the Boone County fire district and an ambulance from Boone Hospi-

tal Center responded to the emergency call, as did the patrol.

Blomenkamp said he did not know if Meinhold was wearing a helmet.
