A natural gas line along Monk Drive in Columbia was broken by a contractor between 9:30-10 a.m. this morning, according to Fred Luetkemeier, superintendent of Gas Operations for Ameren UE in Columbia. Luetkemeier said an Ameren crew is working to restore natural gas to customers on Monk Drive and the line should be fixed by noon today.
