Scott McCullough, of Columbia, riffs on the harmonica during a set by Fletch & Fro, one of the eight acts that performed at McClung Park in Jefferson City for Blue Sunday, an event put on by the MO Blues Association Inc., which seeks to “promote, support and preserve the blues.”

Blues and barbecue in Jefferson City brought visitors to McClung Park on a summer afternoon.

J.P. Boesson, Alan Kliethermes and Jim Haslag brought their grills to the park to prepare their distinguished barbecue, which won first place at the 2007 Osage County Fair.
