Hickman softball team wins in no-hitter

Pitcher Amy Johanning threw a no-hitter in the Hickman softball team's 12-0 win at Macon.

Katherine Steponovich went 3-3 with three doubles and five RBIs in a five inning game. The Kewpies will host Notre Dame De Sion at 9 a.m. Saturday.

ROCK BRIDGE SOFTBALL: The Bruins lost to Jefferson City 12-1 in five innings. Caroline Sicht drove in Rock Bridge’s only run with two outs and the bases loaded in the first inning. Rock Bridge coach Joe Henderson said he was happy with his team’s performance, but that there were too many errors. Rock Bridge will host Moberly at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
