Thousands turn out to be entertained by the Rocket Man

Self proclaimed “huge Elton John fans” Erin Collette, Jill Best, Theresa Pendziski and Patty Keller threw together their costumes just before heading to the concert Friday night, Oct. 5, 2007, at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo.

The "Rocket Man," Sir Elton John, fired up the estimated 14,500 fans Friday night, marking the most attended show to date at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
