WHAT'S YOUR BACKGROUND?
I'm a junior from St. Louis studying magazine editing. When I'm not studying or reporting, I love to cook for friends and family, or read the latest copy of Feast Magazine or Sauce Magazine (after I read the Missourian of course!) with a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

WHAT'S YOUR ROLE AT THE MISSOURIAN?
I'm a reporter for the Enterprise beat. This allows me some freedom to pitch my own story ideas and write about almost anything, which I enjoy.

WHY ARE YOU A JOURNALISM MAJOR?
My journalism career started back in middle school, when the editor of Sauce Magazine visited for Career Day. She explained how she was in charge of editing and writing articles about food, wine, restaurants, food events, and other cooking-related stuff. Instantly, I was hooked and decided I wanted to do that too.

WHAT ARE SOME FUTURE ASPIRATIONS YOU HAVE?
I want to write/edit for a food and wine magazine and also travel. I plan to have a state-of-the-art kitchen to cook, write and relax in, with a dog that I would like to get someday.
