Catherine Martin's Profile

Catherine Martin is from Chesterfield, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. She is a senior at MU double majoring in print journalism and English.

Catherine spent last fall writing for the Public Life/Elections beat, and spent most of her semester following and reporting on the local and national elections. She spent the summer interning for Decor Magazine and Art Business News, both located in St. Louis and at the time owned by Summit Business Media (now owned by Next Step Media). Catherine is now back at the Missourian writing for the Public Life beat once again.

Catherine is a big fan of classic movies, and completed her goal of watching all of AFI’s 100 Greatest Movies last year. Catherine is also a musician who plays three instruments- guitar, drums and piano. Being an English major, she also spends much of her time reading.
