Michelle Todd's Profile

Student at University of Missouri

At the Missourian I write stories; usually whatever animal-related stories I can find or something that I am assigned to. I enjoy writing and have wanted a job that involved working with animals ever since I was little, so I enjoy to write about the stories that involve animals. My main goals after college are to get a job at a horse magazine or working with conservation, and run an exotics business on the side.

I am from Wentzville, Missouri, which is about an hour and a half away from school/work. I started out at Mizzou in Animal Science, wanting to be a veterinarian, but decided that was not the life I wanted for myself and transferred to Science and Agricultural Journalism.

Outside of the Missourian, I spend most of my time taking care of my animals and keeping up with my social life. I have a bearded dragon, four hamsters, a fish tank, two axolotls, a cat, and I breed mice.
