WHAT DO YOU DO AT THE MISSOURIAN?
I am in charge of all the websites, apps and other digital stuff for the Missourian and Vox magazine, as well as the Missourian's IT department. I also teach Multimedia Planning and Design and Magazine Staff.
WHAT'S YOUR WORK AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?
I am a third-generation Missouri journalist and graduated from MU with bachelor's degrees in journalism and in political science in 1999. After that, I spent two years in a masters' program in U.S. history at Mizzou, then worked for three years at the StarNews in Wilmington, N.C. I came back to MU in 2005 to run a digital edition of the Missourian, and then worked as Vox magazine manager before moving into my current job.
WHAT'S YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF WORK LIKE?
I met my wife at Mizzou. We live here in Columbia and have a very active beagle. We both enjoy swimming and biking, and I compete in triathlon and in some longer road rides around town. We love fall because it's football season.

The Katy Trail, True/False, the Wine Cellar & Bistro, Flat Branch, downtown, Tiger sports.
