Teresa Shipley's Profile

Teresa Shipley is completing her master's degree at MU while writing about science, health and the environment for ColumbiaMissourian.com. An inveterate tumbleweed, she has survived three seasons in a tent on the Wyoming rangeland, become an amateur plant ecologist and fire mapper, worked as a researcher with National Geographic Magazine in Washington, D.C., and freelanced about politics, business and the environment for publications across the Pacific Northwest. Shipley came to Missouri from her base camp in sunny Boise, Idaho, where she became addicted to the mountains and low humidity.
