Chanelle Koehn's Profile
To be honest, I hate talking about myself. I would rather hear your story, which is why I'm a member of the Community Outreach Team at the Missourian this fall.
Two years ago, I was a freshman at William Jewell College, where I studied education, and then Spanish and then communications. After much deliberation, conversation and a brief stint when I considered dropping out of college completely to become a professional cat photographer, I decided to pursue my love of journalism at MU in fall 2012.
This summer I was a general assignment reporter for the Columbia Missourian. I have also reported for KCOU News and The Marshall Democrat-News.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on and snuggling my cats, Houdini and Salvatore.
