Caitlin Swieca's Profile

Caitlin Swieca has been a sports reporter for the Columbia Missourian since January 2012. This fall, she will assist in covering the MU football team before moving on to the MU basketball beat in the winter. Last spring, she covered Columbia College women's basketball and MU baseball, among other local sports.

A Chicago native, she returned home in summer 2012 to intern at the sports department of the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Ill. She is currently a junior at MU, studying journalism and political science.
