Returning to the Columbia Missourian staff as a Public Life Reporter in the fall of 2014, Ethan brings with him an extensive resume of covering city, county, state and federal government agencies.
Since leaving the Missourian in spring of 2012, Ethan has continued to gain experience in newsrooms across the state of Missouri, completing internships at the Jefferson City News-Tribune and the Washington Missourian. Ethan has also received recognition for his dedication to the principled field of community journalism with the Missouri Press Association and Missouri Press Foundation, William and Jo Anne Bray Memorial Scholarship.
Ethan first joined the Columbia Missourian staff in 2012 and became the Missourian's go-to for airport and airline industry news coverage. Ethan continues to use the skills he learned as a reporter at the Buffalo Reflex (Buffalo, Mo), Cedar County Republican and Stockton City Journal (Stockton, Mo), and Bowling Green Times (Bowling Green, Mo) to provide coverage of city and county governments.
Ethan, originally from Frankford, Mo., is a senior majoring in journalism and political science, with a minor in history.
