Karen Miller's Profile

Karen Miller is a first year master's student who hails proudly from Tacoma, Washington. For spring 2012 she is an advanced reporter on the public life beat. After four years as an international undergraduate student in Canada, Karen has a fondness for Tim Horton's, a soft spot for Neil Young, and an unwavering love for the Vancouver Canucks. She's been known to let the occasional "eh" slip "oot" in the newsroom. As a Washingtonian, she gets upset at the mention of the word "Sonics" and feels at home in the rain.
